LIVE-IN NANNY – TURKEY
6-Month-Old Boy | Permanent Position | Salary £5,000+  per Month

A warm and welcoming family based in Turkey is looking for an experienced, loving and developmentally focused Live-in Nanny to care for their 6-month-old son.

This is a long-term position for a minimum of one year, ideally longer, and would suit a nurturing, positive and engaging nanny who genuinely enjoys working with babies and understands the important developmental stages during the first years of a child’s life.

The family is looking for someone who can take an active role in their son’s development, creating an age-appropriate and stimulating daily routine through play, activities, reading, communication and outings.

Language development is particularly important to the family. They would ideally love to meet a native speaker of a Latin-based language who also has an excellent command of English, preferably with a clear and neutral accent. Their son is expected to attend a British nursery from the age of two, and the parents would therefore like English to become a natural and familiar part of his everyday environment from an early age.

Both parents are Turkish and speak English to a very high standard.

Schedule:
The family is flexible regarding the exact working pattern and would prefer to discuss this with strong candidates rather than limit the search to one fixed schedule. As a guide, they anticipate requiring approximately 5–6 days per week and around 10–12 hours per day.

Accommodation:
This is a live-in position and private accommodation is provided as part of the package. The nanny may choose between:
• a basement of the house with a separate entrance (though there is only one window near the entrance - the room itself doesnt hv a window; or
• a nice attic room with windows at the top of their house.

The family also has a toy poodle, so the nanny should be comfortable around and ideally enjoy animals.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have strong professional experience caring for babies of a similar age
• Have an excellent understanding of infant development and developmental milestones
• Be loving, warm, smiley and genuinely caring
• Be proactive and confident in planning age-appropriate activities
• Have a strong focus on the child’s development, learning and language exposure
• Speak excellent English
• Ideally be a native speaker of a Latin-based language
• Be comfortable working within a family home and around pets
• Be interested in a stable, long-term position

Start date: Ideally mid-October 2026, although the family can be flexible for the right candidate, including a start closer to the end of the year.

Salary: From £5,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications. The family is flexible for an exceptional candidate.

Contract: Permanent, minimum commitment of one year, with a strong preference for someone interested in staying longer term.
