An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Maternity Nurse to join a warm, welcoming family based in Kensington, supporting them following the birth of their second child, due October 10, 2025.

We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely family who are seeking overnight support, 7 nights per week, for a period of 4 months. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, compassionate professional with a proven background in newborn care.

Position Details:

• Start Date: October 10, 2025

• Location: Kensington, London

• Schedule: 7 nights per week, 7:00 PM – 9:00 AM (14 hours/night)

• Duration: 4-month contract

• Accommodation: Not required – overnight only

Duties Include:

• Full overnight care of the newborn, including feeding, burping, changing, settling, and bathing

• Monitoring and supporting sleep and feeding routines

• Sterilising bottles and feeding equipment

• Maintaining an immaculate nursery environment

• Managing baby laundry and organizing clothing and linens

• Offering guidance and reassurance to the parents during the early postnatal period

Family Setup:

• Family of four: mother, father, a 1-year-old son (with his own dedicated live-in nanny), and the expected newborn

• The Maternity Nurse’s exclusive responsibility will be the newborn

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in newborn and maternity care

• Outstanding, verifiable references

• Warm, professional, and emotionally intuitive

• Impeccable personal presentation and hygiene

• Organised, proactive, and respectful of family dynamics

• Commitment to infant wellbeing and healthy development

• Discretion and professionalism are essential

Recruitment Process:

• Initial Zoom interviews with shortlisted candidates

• Followed by an in-person meeting with the family

• Full reference checks will be completed prior to placement
