A warm, welcoming family based in the North West of England (PR6) is seeking a dedicated Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to join them long-term. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive, and loving professional who is passionate about both childcare and home management.
Salary: £40,000 gross per year (or £32,000 with car provided)
Accommodation: Private annex flat with own entrance, en-suite, kitchenette, TV, and all bills included
Schedule: 5 days per week for three weeks each month, 6 days per week for one week each month, 7:30 am–7:30 pm with clear notice of days off in advance (At least two Saturdays and two Sundays per month required)
Children: Two happy, active children aged 1 and 3 years
Travel: 3–4 trips per year (all expenses covered)
Driving: Essential (car provided for duties)
Sole and shared care of two young children
Plan engaging, educational activities (crafts, baking, messy play, outings)
Nursery drop-offs/pick-ups and organising local activities
Meal prep and supporting routines (sleep, bath, emotional development)
Occasional proxy parenting
Full housekeeping of a 3–4 bedroom home (deep cleaning, laundry, organisation)
Cooking nutritious family meals several times per week
Household errands, grocery ordering, and liaising with contractors
General upkeep and managing the smooth running of the home
Friendly small family dog – pet care not essential but comfort around animals is needed
Team-based approach – Mum is hands-on and enjoys working in partnership
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles
Confident, reliable, and passionate about supporting a family home
Skilled in planning stimulating activities for young children
Comfortable managing household needs independently
Excellent references and enhanced DBS required
