Night Nannies
Overnight nannies (also called night time nannies) provided by Royal Nannies will be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience and may also hold childcare qualifications. Your Night Nanny will arrive at 8pm/9pm and leave at 7am/8am. These hours can be flexible if pre-arranged directly with the night nanny.
Night Nannies will gently guide your baby to sleep through the night, whilst you enjoy a good night's sleep.
What are the duties of a Night Nanny?
- night feeds
- change nappies
- settle your baby to sleep
- prepare and sterilise your baby's bottles
- dress the baby in the morning
- give help and advice on getting the baby into a sleep routine
- stay longer in the mornings to allow you a lie-in
- Overnight nannies are NOT responsible for domestic cleaning or laundry
How much does an Overnight Nanny Cost?
- £135 - £145 per night (£100-110 payable to the night nanny, £35 agency fee per night)
- Registration Fee is FREE
Night Nannies are required to have excellent newborn and baby experience as well as relevant childcare-related qualifications. These include qualications such as NNEB, BTEC diploma, NVQ, midwifery, neonatal or paediatric training and qualification.
Night nannies will also have undertaken a First Aid course and will hold an Enhanced CRB check.
